Back in February, we featured the delightful home and studio of Shane Kingsbeer and fiancΓ©e Kate OβConnor in the gentrifying Ballance Street, just outside Whataupoko, downtown Gisborne.Β
β
The couple has built on a site that accommodates a studio for Kingsbeer, and a house for themselves and their young family. βBeing present is more important than anything,β says Kingsbeer. βI just donβt want to go all day without seeing my daughters.βΒ
β
Β Set back on the site, with neighbours close by, the house looks inward to a lush courtyard and forward to a flat lawn β itβs compact but generous, with great light and excellent custom cabinetry. Itβs one of our favourites β weΒ look forward to seeing you there.Β
β
Note: our Open Home series has been designed specifically to operate safely at Covid Level-2, with small groups, social distancing and QRΒ scanning as standard.
